What each plan includes, and how to pick the one that fits your family.

Pfotos has five subscription plans. They're named after the stages of a growing tree — because that's what your family's record is, even if you don't realize it yet.

The five plans

Which plan should I pick?

Most people start with Seedling (free) and stay there for a while. 1 GB is enough for a few hundred photos and quite a few stories. There's no rush to upgrade.

Sapling ($4.99/mo) is for families that want a little more breathing room — the family that's actively adding photos every week.

Family Tree ($8.99/mo) is the most popular paid plan. It's enough for most families' lifetime photo collection if they're being thoughtful about what they save.

Legacy ($17.99/mo) is for serious family historians — the people building a record their grandkids will inherit. 50 GB is room for thousands of photos plus scanned documents and audio.

Legacy+ ($29.99/mo) is for families with the most ambitious goals: unlimited storage, every photo from every camera, every scanned document, every recorded interview with a grandparent before it was too late.

What about annual plans?

Pfotos doesn't currently offer annual plans. We may in the future. If pricing matters and you'd like an annual option, write to us — we keep track of what users ask for.

Where do I sign up?

You can subscribe in the Pfotos app on your iPhone or iPad (which uses Apple's payment system) or on the Pfotos website at pfotos.co (which uses Stripe). Both work fine. Pricing is the same.

What if I can't afford the plan I want?

Write to us at support@pfotos.app. We're a small team, and we know that the families who most need to preserve their history aren't always the families with the most money. We'll do what we can.

What about lifetime plans, founders' tiers, or family discounts?

These don't exist yet. They will in the future. when they do, we'll announce them — but we won't pressure existing users to upgrade or fear-monger about expiring offers. Pfotos is meant to be a long relationship, not a sales funnel.
